Founded in Ontario
Bright Ideas began by designing custom electronics for theme parks, museums and climbing walls. Projects included digital sound and operator accounting systems for the world's largest amusement game manufacturer, race timing and wall management systems for mobile climbing rock walls, an updated version of a carnival classic found in parks worldwide, and sound for life-like dinosaur puppets used in museum exhibits.

Launched Fright Ideas
After 9/11 the Theme Park industry slowed. We shifted our focus to designing, manufacturing and selling our own product line for the haunted attraction industry.

Launched ShowMatic
A new brand brings an evolution of our control platform to non-Halloween markets. All products support networking and can be managed from anywhere.
Every product is still designed in-house, from circuit boards and firmware to the apps that control them.
